Turntable Speeds
Turntable speeds refer to the rate at which a vinyl record spins on a turntable. The most common speeds are 33 1/3 RPM (revolutions per minute) and 45 RPM. The 33 1/3 RPM speed is typically used for long-playing (LP) records, while 45 RPM is often used for singles.
Some turntables also support 78 RPM, which is used for older records made from shellac. The speed affects the playback quality and pitch of the music, so it's important to set the correct speed for the type of record being played to ensure optimal sound reproduction.
