Tupolev Tu-104
The Tupolev Tu-104 is a Soviet jet airliner that first flew in 1955. It was one of the world's first commercial jet aircraft, designed to carry passengers over medium distances. The Tu-104 could accommodate around 50 to 100 passengers and was known for its distinctive swept-wing design.
This aircraft played a significant role in the development of commercial aviation in the Soviet Union and was used by various airlines until the late 1980s. The Tu-104 was powered by two KRD-500 turbojet engines, allowing it to reach speeds of up to 540 miles per hour.
