Tungurahua Volcano
Tungurahua Volcano is an active stratovolcano located in the central part of Ecuador. It rises to an elevation of 5,023 meters (16,479 feet) and is part of the Andes mountain range. The volcano has erupted several times since the late 20th century, with significant activity occurring between 1999 and 2016.
