Tummel River
The Tummel River is a river located in central Scotland, flowing through the picturesque region of Perthshire. It originates from the Tummel Bridge and meanders for about 20 miles before joining the River Tay. The river is known for its scenic beauty, surrounded by lush landscapes and hills.
The Tummel River is also famous for its hydroelectric power stations, which harness the river's flow to generate electricity. The Pitlochry Dam is one of the most notable structures along the river, providing both power and a fish ladder to help salmon migrate upstream.
