Tsengwen Dam
The Tsengwen Dam is a significant water management structure located in Taiwan. Completed in 1989, it is primarily used for flood control, irrigation, and hydroelectric power generation. The dam is situated on the Tsengwen River, which is a tributary of the Chiayi River.
With a height of 131 meters and a length of 1,200 meters, the Tsengwen Dam creates a large reservoir that can store substantial amounts of water. This reservoir plays a crucial role in supporting local agriculture and providing water supply to nearby communities, contributing to the region's economic stability.
