Treaty of Passarowitz
The Treaty of Passarowitz was signed on March 21, 1718, marking the end of the conflict between the Austrian Empire and the Ottoman Empire. This treaty established new borders in southeastern Europe, granting significant territories to Austria, including parts of Serbia and Banat.
The treaty also aimed to stabilize relations between the two empires and included provisions for trade and military cooperation. It was a significant step in the decline of Ottoman power in Europe and the rise of Austrian influence in the region, shaping the political landscape for years to come.
