Travoprost
Travoprost is a medication primarily used to lower intraocular pressure in individuals with glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It belongs to a class of drugs known as prostaglandin analogs, which work by increasing the outflow of fluid from the eye, thereby reducing pressure.
Typically administered as an eye drop, Travoprost is usually prescribed once daily in the affected eye(s). Common side effects may include eye redness, changes in eyelash growth, and darkening of the iris. Patients should follow their healthcare provider's instructions for use to ensure optimal results.
