Transcaucasian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic
The Transcaucasian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (TSFSR) was a short-lived political entity that existed from 1922 to 1936 within the Soviet Union. It was formed from the territories of three countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. The TSFSR aimed to promote cooperation among these nations while maintaining a unified socialist government.
In 1936, the TSFSR was dissolved, and its constituent republics became separate Soviet republics. This change was part of a broader reorganization of the Soviet Union, which sought to streamline governance and enhance local administration. The dissolution marked the end of the federative structure in the region.
