Traditional Water Heater
A traditional water heater, often referred to as a tank water heater, is a common appliance used to heat and store water for residential use. It typically consists of a large tank that holds a specific volume of water, usually ranging from 20 to 80 gallons. The heater uses either electricity or gas to warm the water, which is then delivered to faucets, showers, and appliances as needed.
These water heaters operate by continuously heating the water in the tank to maintain a set temperature. When hot water is drawn from the tank, cold water enters to replace it, ensuring a steady supply. While effective, traditional water heaters can be less energy-efficient compared to newer technologies like tankless water heaters.
