Titan Missile
The Titan Missile was a type of intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) developed by the United States during the Cold War. It was designed to carry nuclear warheads and was part of the U.S. strategic deterrent force. The missile had a range of about 5,500 miles and was capable of delivering its payload with high accuracy.
The Titan II, the most advanced version, was deployed in silos and could be launched within minutes of receiving a command. The missile program began in the late 1950s, and the last Titan missiles were decommissioned in the 1980s, marking the end of an era in U.S. military history.
