Tipper Gore
Tipper Gore is an American author and activist, born on August 19, 1948. She is best known for her work in advocating for mental health awareness and her involvement in the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC), which she co-founded in 1985. The PMRC aimed to address concerns about explicit content in music and promote labeling for albums.
She is also recognized for her role as the wife of former Vice President Al Gore, serving in that capacity from 1993 to 2001. Tipper Gore has written several books and continues to be active in various social causes, particularly those related to mental health and the arts.
