Timothy McVeigh
Timothy McVeigh was an American domestic terrorist responsible for the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. He detonated a truck filled with explosives outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, resulting in the deaths of 168 people, including 19 children. This attack was the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history and led to significant changes in national security policies.
McVeigh was motivated by his opposition to the federal government, particularly in response to events like the Waco siege and the Ruby Ridge incident. He was arrested shortly after the bombing and later executed in 2001 for his crimes.
