Tilt Sensor
A tilt sensor is a device that detects the orientation or angle of an object relative to the ground. It works by measuring the force of gravity acting on a small internal component, which can be a ball, liquid, or a solid-state element. When the sensor tilts, the internal component shifts, triggering a change in the sensor's output signal. This information can be used in various applications, such as in smartphones, gaming controllers, and robotics.
Tilt sensors come in different types, including mechanical, capacitive, and MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) sensors. Each type has its own method of detecting tilt and varying levels of sensitivity. These sensors are commonly used in automotive systems, industrial equipment, and consumer electronics to enhance functionality and improve user experience.
