Tianhe core module
The Tianhe core module is the central component of China's space station, known as the Tiangong space station. Launched on April 29, 2021, it serves as the main living and working area for astronauts. The module is equipped with life support systems, laboratories, and docking ports for visiting spacecraft.
Tianhe, which means "Harmony of the Heavens," is designed to support long-term human habitation and scientific research in low Earth orbit. It plays a crucial role in the overall structure of the space station, which will eventually include additional modules like Wentian and Mengtian for expanded capabilities.
