Thubten Chodron
Thubten Chodron is a Tibetan Buddhist nun and teacher known for her work in promoting Buddhist teachings and practices in the West. She was born in 1950 in the United States and became a nun in 1977 under the guidance of the Dalai Lama. Chodron is the founder of Sravasti Abbey, a Buddhist monastery in Washington State, where she teaches and leads retreats.
