Thomas de Clare, 6th Earl of Hertford
Thomas de Clare, 6th Earl of Hertford, was a notable English nobleman born in 1386. He was the son of Thomas de Clare, 5th Earl of Hertford and Margaret de Mortimer. Thomas succeeded his father as Earl in 1421 and played a significant role in the politics of his time, particularly during the reign of King Henry VI.
Throughout his life, Thomas de Clare was involved in various military campaigns and held several important positions, including serving as a member of the House of Lords. He married Margaret de Beauchamp, and they had several children, continuing the lineage of the Hertford earldom. Thomas passed away in 1428.
