Thomas Woolner
Thomas Woolner was an English sculptor and poet, born on December 17, 1825, in London. He was a prominent member of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, a group of artists and writers who sought to return to the detail and intense colors of art before the Renaissance. Woolner is known for his detailed and expressive sculptures, often depicting historical and literary figures.
In addition to his work as a sculptor, Woolner was also a talented poet. He published several poems and was associated with notable literary figures of his time, including Alfred Lord Tennyson. Woolner's contributions to both art and literature have left a lasting impact, and he passed away on October 7, 1892.
