Thomas Hill (artist)
Thomas Hill was an American landscape painter known for his stunning depictions of the natural beauty of the American West. Born in 1829 in England, he immigrated to the United States in 1844. Hill became particularly famous for his paintings of the Yosemite Valley and the Sierra Nevada mountains, capturing the grandeur of these iconic locations.
