The Wolf, Goat and Cabbage Problem
The Wolf, Goat and Cabbage Problem is a classic river crossing puzzle. In this scenario, a farmer needs to transport a wolf, a goat, and a cabbage across a river using a small boat. However, the boat can only carry the farmer and one other item at a time.
The challenge arises because if the farmer leaves the wolf alone with the goat, the wolf will eat the goat. Similarly, if the farmer leaves the goat alone with the cabbage, the goat will eat the cabbage. The goal is to find a way to get all three across the river safely.
