The Sundays
The Sundays are an English alternative rock band formed in 1988 in London. The group consists of lead vocalist Harriet Wheeler and guitarist David Gavurin. They gained popularity in the early 1990s with their dreamy sound and melodic tunes, often characterized by Wheeler's distinctive voice and introspective lyrics.
Their debut album, Reading, Writing and Arithmetic, released in 1990, received critical acclaim and included hits like "Here's Where the Story Ends." The band released two more albums, Blind in 1992 and Static and Silence in 1997, before going on an extended hiatus. They are known for their influence on the Britpop movement.
