The Cranberries
The Cranberries were an Irish rock band formed in 1989 in Limerick, Ireland. The group consisted of lead singer Dolores O'Riordan, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan, and drummer Fergal Lawler. They gained international fame in the 1990s with their unique sound, blending alternative rock with elements of folk and pop.
Their debut album, Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?, was released in 1993 and included hit singles like "Linger" and "Dreams." The band is best known for their distinctive sound, characterized by O'Riordan's ethereal voice and the use of jangly guitars. They disbanded in 2019 following O'Riordan's passing.
