The Ramayana
The Ramayana is an ancient Indian epic that narrates the life and adventures of Prince Rama, who is considered an incarnation of the god Vishnu. The story follows Rama's quest to rescue his wife, Sita, who has been abducted by the demon king Ravana. Along the way, Rama is joined by his loyal brother Lakshmana and the devoted monkey god Hanuman.
The epic explores themes of duty, honor, and the struggle between good and evil. It is divided into several books, known as Kandas, and has been influential in shaping Indian culture, literature, and religious beliefs for centuries.
