The Parable of the Rich Fool
The Parable of the Rich Fool is a story told by Jesus in the New Testament of the Bible. It describes a wealthy man who, after a bountiful harvest, decides to build bigger barns to store his surplus grain. He believes that by doing so, he can relax and enjoy life, thinking he has secured his future.
However, that very night, God calls the man a fool, stating that his life will be taken away. The parable teaches that accumulating wealth without being rich in spirituality or good deeds is ultimately meaningless, as one cannot take material possessions with them after death.
