Noel Hogan is an Irish musician and songwriter, best known as the guitarist for the alternative rock band The Cranberries. Born on December 25, 1971, in Limerick, Ireland, he co-founded the band in 1989, contributing to their distinctive sound and success throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.
Hogan played a significant role in the band's hit songs, including Zombie and Linger. After the band went on hiatus in 2003, he pursued various musical projects and collaborations. The Cranberries reunited in 2009 and continued to tour and release new music until the passing of lead singer Dolores O'Riordan in 2018.
