The Bermuda Triangle is a loosely defined region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean, where a number of aircraft and ships are said to have mysteriously disappeared. The area is roughly bounded by Miami, Bermuda, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Despite its reputation, many of these incidents can be attributed to natural causes, human error, or navigational challenges.
Researchers have studied the Bermuda Triangle extensively, and most agree that the number of incidents is not significantly higher than in other heavily traveled regions. Factors such as unpredictable weather, underwater features, and high traffic contribute to the area's history, but no scientific evidence supports the idea of supernatural occurrences.
