The Amps
The Amps were an alternative rock band formed in 1995, led by Kim Deal, who was also a member of the influential group Pixies. The band released their debut album, "Pacer," in 1995, which featured a mix of melodic tunes and gritty guitar sounds, showcasing Deal's distinctive songwriting style.
The Amps disbanded shortly after their first album, but their music continued to resonate with fans of the 1990s alternative scene. Although they had a brief career, their sound contributed to the evolution of indie rock, influencing many artists who followed in their footsteps.
