Texas Republic
The Texas Republic was an independent nation that existed from 1836 to 1845, following its separation from Mexico. It was established after the successful Texas Revolution, where Texan settlers fought for their independence. The capital was located in Austin, and the republic was known for its vast land and diverse population.
During its existence, the Texas Republic faced numerous challenges, including financial difficulties and conflicts with Native American tribes. It sought recognition from other nations and established diplomatic relations, notably with the United States. In 1845, the republic was annexed by the United States, becoming the state of Texas.
