Tex Ritter
Tex Ritter was an American country music singer and actor, born on January 12, 1905, in Murvaul, Texas. He became famous in the 1930s and 1940s for his deep voice and cowboy persona, often appearing in Western films. Ritter recorded many popular songs, including "High Noon," which became a classic.
In addition to his music career, Tex Ritter was a prominent figure in the Hollywood Western genre, starring in over 70 films. He was also a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, recognized for his contributions to country music and film. Ritter passed away on January 2, 1974.
