Teresita de Jesús
Teresita de Jesús, also known as Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, was a French nun born on January 2, 1873. She is best known for her simple yet profound approach to spirituality, emphasizing love and trust in God. Teresita entered the Carmelite Order at a young age and lived a life of prayer and devotion until her death from tuberculosis on September 30, 1897.
Teresita's writings, particularly her autobiography titled "Story of a Soul," have inspired many. She was canonized as a saint by Pope Pius XI in 1925 and declared a Doctor of the Church in 1997, recognizing her significant contributions to Christian spirituality.
