Saint Thérèse of Lisieux
Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, also known as the "Little Flower," was a French nun born on January 2, 1873. She joined the Carmelite Order at a young age and is known for her simple yet profound approach to spirituality, emphasizing love and trust in God. Thérèse wrote an autobiography titled "Story of a Soul," which details her spiritual journey and the "Little Way" of doing small acts with great love.
She passed away on September 30, 1897, at the age of 24, and was canonized as a saint by Pope Pius XI in 1925. Thérèse is the patron saint of missions and florists, and her life continues to inspire many people around the world.
