The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus was a grand temple dedicated to the Greek goddess Artemis, known for her association with hunting and fertility. Located in the ancient city of Ephesus in present-day Turkey, it was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The temple was built around 550 BCE and was renowned for its impressive size and beautiful sculptures. The temple was constructed primarily of marble and featured 127 columns, each standing 18 meters tall. It served as a major religious center and attracted many pilgrims. Unfortunately, the temple was destroyed multiple times, with the final destruction occurring in 262 CE by the Goths. Today, only a few remnants of the temple remain.
