Teepee
A teepee, also spelled "tipi," is a traditional dwelling used by some Indigenous peoples of North America, particularly the Lakota and Cheyenne. It is a conical tent made from wooden poles covered with animal hides or canvas. The design allows for efficient heating and ventilation, making it suitable for various climates.
Teepees are typically portable, enabling nomadic tribes to move easily in search of food and resources. The interior is often organized with a fire pit in the center for cooking and warmth. Today, teepees are also used for cultural events, camping, and educational purposes, celebrating Indigenous heritage.
