Team Pursuit
Team Pursuit is a track cycling event where teams of cyclists race against the clock. Each team consists of four riders who work together to achieve the fastest time over a set distance, typically 4 kilometers for men and 3 kilometers for women. The race begins with all riders starting simultaneously, and they take turns leading to reduce wind resistance.
During the race, when a rider becomes fatigued, they drop to the back of the line, allowing the next rider to take the lead. The event requires strong teamwork, strategy, and precise timing, as the team's performance depends on the collective effort of all members.
