Team Formation
Team formation is the process of bringing together individuals to work collaboratively towards a common goal. This involves selecting team members based on their skills, experiences, and personalities to ensure a balanced and effective group. The stages of team formation, often described by Bruce Tuckman's model, include forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning.
During the forming stage, team members get to know each other and establish initial relationships. As they progress to the storming stage, conflicts may arise as individuals assert their ideas. Successful navigation through these stages leads to a cohesive team capable of achieving its objectives efficiently.
