Tarpana
Tarpana is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy that involves the application of medicated ghee or oil to the eyes. This treatment is believed to nourish and rejuvenate the eyes, improving vision and alleviating various eye conditions. It is often used in conjunction with other Ayurvedic practices to promote overall eye health.
The procedure typically involves placing a circular barrier made of dough around the eyes, which holds the ghee or oil in place. The warm, medicated substance is then poured into the barrier, allowing it to soak into the eyes for a specified duration. Ayurveda practitioners recommend Tarpana for its potential benefits in reducing dryness, fatigue, and strain in the eyes.
