Tarifit
Tarifit is a Berber language spoken primarily in northern Morocco, particularly in the Rif Mountains region. It is part of the larger Berber language family, which includes other languages like Tamazight and Tachelhit. Tarifit is used by the Rifian people and has its own unique phonetic and grammatical features.
The language has a rich oral tradition and is increasingly being recognized in education and media. Efforts are being made to promote and preserve Tarifit, especially as younger generations seek to maintain their cultural identity amidst globalization.
