Tamajaq
Tamajaq is a variety of the Tamasheq language, spoken by the Tuareg people in regions of North Africa, particularly in Mali, Niger, and Algeria. It belongs to the Berber branch of the Afro-Asiatic language family and is characterized by its unique script, known as Tifinagh, which has ancient origins.
The Tuareg people, who are primarily nomadic herders and traders, use Tamajaq for daily communication and cultural expression. The language reflects their rich traditions, history, and social structures, playing a vital role in preserving their identity in a rapidly changing world.
