Talysh people
The Talysh people are an ethnic group primarily found in the Talysh region, which spans parts of Azerbaijan and Iran. They speak the Talysh language, a member of the Northwestern Iranian languages, and have a rich cultural heritage that includes traditional music, dance, and crafts.
Historically, the Talysh have faced various challenges, including political and social changes in the regions they inhabit. Despite this, they maintain a distinct identity, with customs and traditions that reflect their unique history and connection to the Caspian Sea and surrounding mountains.
