Takht Sachkhand Hazur Sahib
Takht Sachkhand Hazur Sahib is one of the five Takhts, or seats of authority, in Sikhism. Located in Nanded, Maharashtra, it is a significant pilgrimage site for Sikhs. The Takht is built on the banks of the Godavari River and is known for its beautiful architecture and serene environment. It is the final resting place of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru.
The complex houses a grand Gurdwara where the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of Sikhism, is revered. Pilgrims visit to pay their respects and participate in community meals, known as Langar. The site symbolizes the spiritual legacy of the Sikh faith and attracts thousands of devotees each year.
