Tabasaran language
Tabasaran language is a member of the Nakh-Daghestanian language family, primarily spoken in the Tabasaran region of Dagestan, Russia. It is one of the many languages in the diverse linguistic landscape of the North Caucasus, with around 30,000 speakers.
The language is known for its complex phonetic system and rich morphology. It has several dialects, which can vary significantly in pronunciation and vocabulary. Tabasaran is written using the Cyrillic script, and efforts are ongoing to preserve and promote the language among younger generations.
