Lezgian Language
The Lezgian language is a Northeast Caucasian language primarily spoken by the Lezgins, an ethnic group in the Caucasus region. It is mainly found in Dagestan, a republic of Russia, and parts of Azerbaijan. Lezgian is part of the Lezgic language family, which includes several related languages.
Lezgian has a rich phonetic system and is known for its complex consonant clusters. The language uses a modified version of the Cyrillic alphabet for writing. Efforts are ongoing to preserve and promote Lezgian culture and language, especially among younger generations.
