TWA Flight Center
The TWA Flight Center is an iconic terminal located at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City. Designed by architect Eero Saarinen, it opened in 1962 and is celebrated for its futuristic, wing-like design. The terminal served as the hub for Trans World Airlines (TWA) until the airline ceased operations in 2001.
In 2014, the terminal was repurposed and reopened as the TWA Hotel, which features a blend of mid-century modern design and contemporary amenities. The hotel preserves the original architecture while offering guests a unique experience, including a rooftop pool and a museum dedicated to the history of TWA.
