Tây Sơn brothers
The Tây Sơn brothers were three prominent figures in Vietnamese history: Nguyễn Nhạc, Nguyễn Huệ, and Nguyễn Lữ. They led a successful rebellion against the ruling Nguyễn lords in the late 18th century. Their movement aimed to unify Vietnam and reduce the power of feudal lords, ultimately establishing the Tây Sơn dynasty.
The brothers are best known for their military prowess, particularly Nguyễn Huệ, who was a skilled general. They played a crucial role in the Vietnamese resistance against foreign invasions, including the Chinese Qing dynasty.
