System of a Down
System of a Down is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Glendale, California. The group consists of four members: Serj Tankian (vocals, keyboards), Daron Malakian (guitar, vocals), Shavo Odadjian (bass), and John Dolmayan (drums). They are known for their unique blend of heavy metal, alternative rock, and Armenian folk music, often incorporating political and social themes into their lyrics.
