Serj Tankian
Serj Tankian is an Armenian-American musician, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band System of a Down. Born on August 21, 1967, in Beirut, Lebanon, he moved to the United States with his family in 1975. Tankian is recognized for his unique vocal style and socially conscious lyrics, often addressing political and humanitarian issues.
In addition to his work with System of a Down, Tankian has pursued a solo career, releasing several albums that showcase his diverse musical influences, including rock, jazz, and world music.
