Syailendra
The Syailendra dynasty was a prominent ruling family in Southeast Asia, particularly in what is now Indonesia, during the 8th to 9th centuries. They are best known for their significant contributions to Buddhist architecture, most notably the construction of the magnificent Borobudur temple, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The dynasty played a crucial role in the spread of Buddhism in the region and established trade relations with neighboring kingdoms. Their influence extended to various cultural and artistic developments, leaving a lasting legacy that can still be seen in the region's historical sites and traditions today.
