Swim meets
A swim meet is a competitive event where swimmers participate in various races to showcase their skills. These meets can be organized at different levels, including local, regional, and national competitions. Swimmers compete in different strokes, such as freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly, and are categorized by age and skill level.
During a swim meet, participants are timed, and their performances are recorded. Points are awarded based on finishing positions, and sometimes medals or ribbons are given to top finishers. Swim meets promote teamwork and sportsmanship among participants, as they often represent their swim clubs or schools.
