Suspension Railway
A suspension railway is a type of elevated train system where the train cars hang from a track above them, rather than running on top of it. This design allows for efficient travel over urban areas and difficult terrains, minimizing the need for extensive ground-level infrastructure.
One of the most famous examples of a suspension railway is the Wuppertal Suspension Railway in Germany, which has been in operation since 1901. These railways are known for their smooth rides and unique engineering, making them an interesting alternative to traditional rail systems.
