Supreme Court of Hungary
The Supreme Court of Hungary, known as the Curia, is the highest judicial authority in Hungary. It oversees the interpretation and application of laws, ensuring justice and legal uniformity across the country. The court handles cases involving constitutional matters, civil disputes, and administrative issues.
Established in 2012, the Curia replaced the previous Supreme Court and operates under the Fundamental Law of Hungary. It consists of various chambers that specialize in different areas of law, and its decisions are binding on lower courts, playing a crucial role in the Hungarian legal system.
