Superchunk
Superchunk is an American indie rock band formed in 1989 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The band consists of members Mac McCaughan, Laura Ballance, Jim Wilbur, and Jon Wurster. Known for their energetic sound and catchy melodies, they have released several albums, with their debut being "No Pocky for Kitty."
The band's music often features a blend of punk and pop influences, and they are recognized for their DIY ethic. Superchunk is also the co-founder of Merge Records, an influential independent record label that has helped launch the careers of many artists in the indie music scene.
